Job summary

WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Supervisor to lead clinical and perioperative inventory activities. You will oversee storeroom operations, maintain PAR levels, and ensure accurate inventory data across departments.

You will analyze cost and utilization, implement improvements, and train staff. Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and several years in supply chain; CMPR preferred. Night shift may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field plus 2 years supply chain experience.
• Or high school diploma plus 4 years supply chain experience.
• Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees annual and periodic inventories.
• Adheres to staffing guidelines and manages departmental budget.
• Prioritizes workload and coaches staff.
• Analyzes clinical supply cost, spend and utilization data.
• Maintains storeroom, reorder points and accurate inventory levels.
• Ensures compliance with storage regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborates with procure to pay to submit and reconcile orders.
• Rotates shifts and participates in on-call duties.
• Uses ABC analysis to reduce dead stock and maintain PAR levels.
• Conducts staff training on inventory and tracking processes.
