About the Role

The selected candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced work environment, source and procure complex, specialized goods and services, and own contractual management for suppliers. Responsibilities include:

• Source and procure complex, specialized goods and services.
• Own contractual management for suppliers.
• Responsible for subcontract sourcing, proposal evaluation, negotiation, award, execution, administration, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate and collaborate with key stakeholders such as legal, contracts, finance, planning, operations, program management, engineering, and quality.
• Monitor and manage schedule, cost, technical and quality performance of suppliers supporting U.S. Government programs.
• Interface with supplier leadership teams to motivate and drive excellence in performance of contractual requirements.
• Provide subcontracting process and compliance guidance to managers responsible for subcontract specialists, supplier management teams and integrated product team leads.
• Provide subject matter expertise in all aspects of supplier and subcontract management.
• Perform independently with minimal management oversight; leadership position with daily executive interactions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 7 years of experience in subcontracts, procurement or contracts OR Master’s Degree and 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma/Equivalent and 11 years of experience; requires minimum 4 years leading a team, process or projects.
• Aerospace & Defense experience.
• DoD contracting experience.Ability to transfer and maintain a Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a subcontracts organization.
• Extensive experience leading complex negotiations and construction favorable business deals.
• Working knowledge of SAP or related business application software and Microsoft Office.
• Master’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or industrial engineering.
• Experience with complex, competitive subcontracts for U.S. Government and commercial and multiple contracting formats; knowledge of special payment provisions.
• Lead evaluation of customer RFPs and collaborate with program/planning team to develop subcontract RFPs.
• Ability to lead/mentor other SCAs throughout the entire subcontract lifecycle.

Salary & Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus; annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. VP or director positions may be eligible for long‑term incentives. Additional benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off for vacation and personal business.
