GEP is seeking a Consultant in Supply Chain Strategy in Chicago. The role blends strategy, analytics, and real-world execution to improve client supply chains.

You’ll analyze data, design actionable recommendations, and work with clients to implement solutions that deliver measurable results. You’ll collaborate with experienced consultants, lead discovery workshops, and apply internal AI tools to accelerate impact.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in supply chain consulting or similar analytical environment.
• Strong interest in supply chain strategy, operations, and business transformation.
• Ability to analyze data, connect the dots, and turn complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements focused on supply chain strategy, operations improvement, and transformation.
• Analyze performance, identify opportunities, and uncover root causes of operational challenges.
• Develop recommendations that are strategically sound and practically implementable.
• Lead client discovery workshops to identify high-impact AI use cases and translate challenges into AI roadmaps.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate workflows and deliver value for clients and GEP.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to build solutions and drive sustainable change.
• Ensure ideas become action by staying connected to implementation and measurable results.
• Build consulting toolkit using supply chain frameworks and best practices.
• Contribute to proposals, develop client relationships, and identify value opportunities.
• Mentor newer consultants while growing leadership skills.

What You’ll Bring

Salary Range:

$160,000 – $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
