Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, materials planning, logistics, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, customer delivery requirements, and supplier coordination.
• Working knowledge of batch processing of chemical specialty products and inventory control is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer plans, initiatives and programs to improve supply chain efficiency, effectiveness, inventory levels, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collect, analyze, and mine complex data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; guide data collection to improve analyses.
• Evaluate demand patterns and inventory strategies to optimize investment, service levels, and responsiveness.
• Monitor forecasting programs to optimize scheduling and floor space and reduce missed shipments.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, production, and other departments to align supply chain activities with goals and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase automation; support new ventures and acquisitions to ensure onboarding with standard practices.
