Job summary

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies LP in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking an Industrial Filtration Planner to manage material planning, forecasting, and inventory control on-site. You will coordinate with suppliers, process orders, and support production to avoid shortages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in materials planning or inventory management is advantageous.
• Proficiency in materials planning software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting: Analyze production schedules and sales forecasts to determine material requirements and prepare accurate material forecasts.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and manage reorder points to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory.
• Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to place orders, manage delivery schedules, and resolve any issues related to material supply.
• Order Processing: Generate and process purchase orders for materials and track their delivery to ensure timely receipt and availability.
• Production Support: Collaborate with production teams or sales (Merchandize) to address any material shortages or delays and adjust plans to meet production requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of material orders, receipts, and inventory levels, and prepare reports as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in material planning and inventory management to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
