Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Purchasing or supply chain management.
• Proven commodity purchasing experience, ideally in automotive and metals.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence outcomes.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and cost drivers.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, QAD or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial strategy and supplier management for assigned direct material commodities, focusing on metals.
• Build market analysis and commodity strategies including supplier base development.
• Develop raw material forecasts using datasets and feedstock market intelligence.
• Lead total cost management across the supply chain aligned to business objectives.
• Drive material risk mitigation for continuity, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Negotiate and execute supplier agreements and NDAs ensuring policy compliance.
• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, material tech, and operations to align sourcing with innovation.
