Overview

Dustrol, Inc. located in Towanda, Kansas is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist. This position is important to maintaining inventory levels to keep our fleet of equipment in Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, and Colorado in excellent working condition. The role is 50% in the warehouse managing physical inventory and 50% researching, sourcing, and negotiating prices on existing and new parts. Dustrol, Inc. has a legacy spanning 52 years, providing asphalt expertise to keep highways safe for travel.

Job Details include working with shop personnel, researching and procuring options via third-party vendors, maintaining an electronic database of current, incoming, and needed equipment and parts, negotiating for quality parts at a fair price, and delivering parts to support operations.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with shop personnel to effectively keep parts in stock.
  • Research and procure best options available via third-party vendors.
  • Receive, stock, and update electronic database of all current, incoming, and needed equipment and parts.
  • Negotiate on behalf of Dustrol, Inc. to ensure quality parts at a quality price.
  • Manage and optimize warehouse inventory, ensuring stock accuracy and availability.
  • Pack and ship orders on tight deadlines to support operations and field crews.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with field crews to ensure their needs are met efficiently.
  • Assist in developing and implementing warehouse organization systems for efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene, and security standards in warehouse operations.
  • Deliver parts to field crews when needed to support operations.
  • Produce regular reports on inventory levels and efficiency metrics.
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.

  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation are a must.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
