Located in North Reading, MA, with a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities include coordinating purchasing activities, managing supplier relations and KPI tracking, and contributing to monthly scorecards and quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of data management and databases is a plus.
• Ability to work in a demanding yet collegial environment where teamwork is essential.
• Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing materials and equipment from suppliers including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.
• Managing supplier relationships and KPIs reported to senior Supply Chain leadership.
• Providing inputs to monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during quarterly business reviews.
• Planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing schedules in our ERP system, and communicating requirements to suppliers.
• Identifying supply chain material risks and monitoring material flow.

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting procurement and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: North Reading, MA

Pay Range: $35/hr W2

What's the Job?
