Job summary

Celina Tent, Inc. (CELINA) in Celina, Ohio, is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to monitor and expedite the flow of goods, materials, and information across procurement, production, inventory, and logistics.

You will build supplier relationships, manage purchasing, analyze data in ERP/MRP, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvements to meet KPIs and customer expectations. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and 2–4 years of experience; advanced Excel; familiarity with HS codes

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing reports and analyzing data.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory control.
• Knowledge of international shipping, customs documentation, and import/export processes.
• Familiarity with Berry Amendment, Buy American Act, or HS codes is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing business needs.

Celina Tent, Inc. (CELINA) is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist. In the role of Supply Chain Specialist, you will monitor and expedite the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. This position collaborates closely with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, and transportation functions to optimize the supply chain. The Supply Chain Specialist identifies bottlenecks or problem areas, escalates or proposes solutions, places purchase orders, and works with suppliers to resolve issues. In addition, this role may assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements while providing analysis and reporting to support decision-making.

What You’ll Do

Purchasing & Supplier Management

• Manage purchasing activities, including placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving supplier issues.
• Build and maintain effective supplier relationships to support quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
• Monitor material availability, supplier performance, and purchasing trends to identify potential shortages or disruptions.
• Support supplier negotiations, sourcing decisions, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Supply Chain Coordination & Analysis

• Collaborate with purchasing, production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure materials and products flow efficiently throughout the supply chain.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and supply chain risks, and recommend practical solutions.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and supply chain data to support forecasting, planning, and operational decisions.
• Maintain accurate information within ERP/MRP systems and prepare reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Research market pricing, supplier capabilities, and industry trends to support informed purchasing decisions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen supply chain performance.

Logistics & Trade Compliance

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Prepare and review shipping, customs, and import/export documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support compliance with applicable trade regulations, sourcing requirements, and customer or government contract requirements.
• Maintain required records and identify or elevate potential compliance concerns.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, logistics or a related role.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience preparing reports and analyzing data.
• Experience working with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
