Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Supply Chain Shift Manager to supervise Lift Truck Operators, Team Leads, and Shift Coordinators, ensuring the daily operations plan is executed with top-tier safety and efficiency.

You will lead Tier 0 & Tier 1 meetings, monitor labor balance, and drive continuous improvement in an on-site warehouse environment in Texas, coordinating closely with the Supply Chain team to meet on-time customer shipments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred in logistics or related field.
• 5+ years business experience in Distribution/Warehouse Logistics.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); JDA (Red Prairie) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Lift Truck Operators, Team Leads and Shift Coordinators on same shift.
• Lead daily Tier 0 & Tier 1 meetings and ensure standard work is followed.
• Execute the operations plan daily as directed by Supply Chain Manager.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Coordinators to balance labor, equipment and warehouse tasks.
• Address issues quickly to complete the operations plan and ensure on-time shipments.
• Ensure workplace safety through audits and safety training.
• Monitor productivity and provide feedback to maximize output.
• Develop and implement supply chain plans affecting production, distribution and inventory.
• Support policy development to ensure quality and cost control.
• Understand site cost drivers and work to reduce costs without impacting deliveries.
• Conduct distribution studies and analyze requirements to meet delivery targets.
• Champion Continuous Improvement and Change Management.
• Maintain records and prepare reports.
• Coordinate logistics with internal and external customers.
• Utilize AGV tasking to maximize productivity.
