Associates rotate through different groups, participate in leadership-led sessions, and build broad business capabilities for quicker impact when hired into full-time roles.

Participants gain hands-on experience using Excel and SAP to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and contribute to process improvements

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a college degree program or equivalent (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program).
• Interest in a supply-chain focused career path.
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before January 2027.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Assist in collecting and analyzing historical sales data to support demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to gather market intelligence and demand inputs.

Your Job

The JumpStart program is an entry level training program and is one of the future talent pipelines for Georgia-Pacific business functions. This program will allow entry level talent to get training and exposure to various cross-functional capabilities while mutually creating value. JumpStart Associates engage in sessions that introduce various areas of the business and participate in coordinated networking opportunities with leadership to broaden their learning horizons. We enable and advance the skill and capability building for a quicker impact when employees are hired into their full-time role. Employees in the JumpStart program can expect to spend time rotating amongst different groups to gain exposure to the different parts of the business.

What You Will Do

Georgia-Pacific's JumpStart program offers exposure to a variety of business functions and capabilities across Georgia Pacific's Consumer Products business (Retail & Away-From-Home).

Demand Planning Support

• Assist in collecting and analyzing historical sales data to support accurate demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather market intelligence and demand inputs.
• Help update demand plans and track forecast accuracy.

Supply Planning Support

• Work with supply planners to review production schedules and inventory levels.
• Help identify potential supply constraints and recommend solutions to meet demand.
• Assist in generating supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business goals.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Use Excel and supply chain planning tools (SAP) to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service levels.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
• Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and accuracy.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Enrolled in a college degree program OR alternative program. (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.)
• Interest in a supply-chain focused career path
• Eligible for full-time employment on or before January 2027
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
