Busch Vacuum Solutions in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Supply Chain Planner II for our regional distribution center. This onsite role focuses on demand, inventory, and capacity planning to support customer needs and operational efficiency.

Targeted compensation ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually, with a Monday–Friday schedule and minimal travel. You will analyze requirements, maintain stock levels, manage forecasts in ERP, and collaborate with suppliers, operations, and accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment analyzing and recommending material replenishment is required.
• Strong understanding and practical application of statistical methods is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes, plans, releases, controls, reschedules, and cancels materials and components that support production orders based on ERP/MRP.
• Analyzes requirements for suppliers, resources, and production lines and makes supply chain strategy decisions.
• Maintains adequate stock levels to meet production and spare parts demands and minimize excess inventory.
• Oversees procurement recommendations for purchase orders and supply strategies based on demand and trends.
• Contacts suppliers and work centers regarding material issues from demand fluctuations and quality issues.
• Selects transportation modes to meet requirements while minimizing costs.
• Maintains ERP master data including lead times, lot sizes, planning strategies, reorder points, and planning parameters.
• Creates and uploads forecasts within ERP and executes the Master Production Schedule monthly.
• Maintains Work Centers, Routings, BoMs, and other master data within ERP.
• Coordinates with Accounting and Sourcing Buyers to resolve discrepancies.
• Leads task forces related to purchasing, planning, and analysis.
