Job summary

Busch Vacuum Solutions is seeking a Buyer/Planner – Intercompany, Level 3 at our U.S. headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing intercompany purchasing to balance global material flow and optimize inventory.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in Business or Supply Chain with 5+ years in manufacturing purchasing/planning, SAP/MRP experience, and APICS credentials preferred. Competitive compensation of $78k–$89k plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; 5+ years purchasing/planning in manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• SAP ERP and MRP experience required; CRM tools preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred; Procurement Certification (APICS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal demand and generate intercompany POs.
• Coordinate global delivery timelines across sites.
• Process and maintain accurate POs and data in ERP.
• Resolve backorders, delays, and invoicing discrepancies.
• Coordinate with receiving, warehouse, and quality on non-conformances.
• Maintain supplier pricing and contract details in ERP.
• Communicate delivery status to internal stakeholders.
• Support forecast analysis, safety stock, and demand signals.
• Lead intercompany supply chain initiatives and KPIs.
• Drive cost savings and inventory turns with sourcing partners.
• Manage cross-site calendars and S&OP alignment.
• Mentor junior buyers/planners.
