Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Planner 1 at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. You will facilitate, coordinate, and manage supply chain planning functions supporting Garmin products, ensuring timely and cost-effective production and distribution.

The role requires understanding DRP/MRP concepts and strong Microsoft Office skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making and KPI management within a cross-functional team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics or related field.
  • Understands and implements supply chain best practices.
  • Proficient with planning tools.
  • Knowledge of DRP/MRP and warehouse, manufacturing or service processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage supply chain planning functions supporting Garmin products.
  • Extract and evaluate data to aid decision making and KPI tracking.
  • Communicate status and issues clearly to cross-functional teams.
  • Plan daily workload with ability to identify priorities.
  • Apply Garmin’s mission statement and quality policy in planning activities.
  • Support product introduction and use analytical methods to improve processes.
  • Plan finished goods manufacturing and distribution at Garmin sites and distribution locations.
