Job summary

Garmin Ltd. in the United States is seeking a full-time Planner 1 to facilitate, coordinate and manage supply chain planning functions supporting Garmin products.

You will plan finished goods manufacturing and distribution at Garmin production sites and distribution locations, using planning tools and DRP/MRP knowledge, with emphasis on data-driven decisions. This role requires strong MS Office skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to prioritize daily work while aligning with

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics or in a related operations/business field.
  • Understands and implements supply chain best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and gain proficient use and knowledge of planning tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills with cross functional teams and customers.
  • Solid understanding of DRP or MRP and related warehouse/manufacturing/service processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plans finished goods manufacturing and distribution at Garmin production sites and distribution locations.
  • Extracts, evaluates data, and provides for decision-making purposes.
  • Applies Garmin’s mission statement and quality policy in planning activities.
  • Plans own daily workload with ability to identify priorities.
  • Supports KPI tracking and data-driven decision making.
