Supply Chain Planner (Contract)

Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.

Summary

Join a dynamic Supply Chain Operations Management team within the CSCP organization to drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and efficiency in manufacturing operations and fulfillment with external supply chain partners. As a key link between Capacity Planning and Build Order & Fulfillment teams, you will shape supply-demand dynamics, analyze data for capacity planning, and establish performance metrics for process enhancements. This role requires a passionate supply chain professional with a focus on demand-supply shaping activities to ensure on-time delivery of Microsoft products globally.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as a pivotal link between Capacity Planning and Build Order & Fulfillment teams.
  • Utilize data and analytics to match supply with capacity planning and customer demand.
  • Define key metrics driving process improvements.
  • Monitor inventory levels to optimize stock balance.
  • Develop internal and external performance indicators.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders for effective supply chain management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives alongside daily business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Ops/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of supplier management experience in electronics or high-volume supply chain/manufacturing environment.
  • 4+ years of program management and data analytics experience.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving skills - ability to manage competing priorities, set clear expectations, collaborate, identify objectives, develop and deliver feedback in written, oral, and presentation formats for partner teams, and senior executive management.
  • Strong Project Management skills involving multiple global System Integrators and Internal partners. High comfort with handling multiple ongoing priorities and escalations. Strong customer-focus and attention to detail.
  • Capable of performing complex data analysis to identify problems or opportunities to improve supply chain performance.
  • Skilled in Customer Relationship building, and Cross-functional collaboration opportunities.
  • Strong skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies (ability to hold people accountable, and drive closure).
  • Ability to work well in ambiguous situations, and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and changes.
  • Support organization‐wide projects to improve delivery, reliability, and agility; leveraging others effectively to support internal business team goals.
  • MS/MBA preferred.

Additional Details

  • Location: Remote (needs to be in Washington in case there is a need to come into the office)
  • Duration: 13 Months
  • Pay Range: $37 - 42 per hour
  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
