Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Kansas City is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Operations to oversee critical areas that keep our warehouse running smoothly.

You’ll rely on your leadership experience to engage staff, meet customer commitments, and drive continuous improvements across safety, quality and productivity. The role requires at least four years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s in logistics or a related field, with background in AS9100/ISO environments and Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO environments; Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
• Experience in warehousing or 3PL.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Demonstrate an understanding of GXO quality policies; establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Provide guidance to supervisors with respect to personnel, quality and safety.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise staff effectively.
• Make recommendations on programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate all maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Ensure records are maintained appropriately and reports are completed in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and enforce all safe work practices, ensuring the warehouse is compliant with OSHA.
