Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field preferred.
• CPIM and/or CMRP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of employees to complete department work efficiently and effectively.
• Analyzes departmental processes to ensure efficient use of system resources.
• Develops productivity and quality standards and KPIs; monitors staff activity to meet them.
• Determines workforce requirements through volume and productivity analysis and ensures proper staffing.
• Ensures all employees are trained, including new employee orientation and SOPs.
• Prepares reports including financials, KPIs, and management recommendations to ensure peak performance.
• Interviews, hires, coaches and conducts annual evaluations with development plans for staff in Materials Management.
