Job summary

Johnson Controls offers a twelve-week Supply Chain & Operations Internship that develops college students through rotational experiences across manufacturing plants nationwide. Roles include production supervision, materials planning, procurement, logistics, quality, and Lean/Continuous Improvement.

Interns gain hands-on exposure, learn the JCI Business System, and prepare for the SCOR program after graduation. Locations include Marinette, WI; York, PA; Largo, FL; San Antonio, TX; and more.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
Enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. college or university with graduation between Dec 2027 and Jun 2030.
Must have access to personal transportation and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and projects.
Learn the JCI Business System and support plants to meet KPIs.
Oversee daily production support, including capacity management and scheduling analysis.
Monitor and report on KPIs.
Maintain and improve reports to enable manufacturing floor efficiency.
Implement measures to minimize waste.
