Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Supply Chain Ops Associate in Toledo, OH to support the GM LLP account and manage material availability and inventory control. You will coordinate supplier ship schedules, monitor parts, and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing costs and efficiency.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and 1+ year in admin or relevant experience. MGO experience is a plus. This is a salaried position with benefits and a strong growth path.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year or more in administrative experience preferred.
• 1 year or more in relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) intermediate preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation management intermediate preferred.
• Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance.
• Serve as main contact for all suppliers and manage ship schedules and containment plans.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid interruptions.
• Coordinate alternate material sources and spot buys when needed.
• Monitor and arrange truck loads for material pickup to support the schedule.
• Review buffers to cover build requirements and manage code exceptions.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO and process adjustment requests.
