Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant in Strategy, Growth, and Transformation within the Supply Chain & Network Operations team. You will support defense and public-sector initiatives, analyze end-to-end supply chain processes, and contribute to modernization efforts across Army manufacturing and logistics environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support defense and public-sector transformation initiatives in supply chain planning and logistics modernization.
  • Analyze supply chain activities across procurement, inventory, distribution, maintenance, sustainment, and readiness.
  • Contribute to modernization of Army Organic Industrial Base manufacturing and repair operations.
  • Develop analyses, briefings, decision support materials, and governance deliverables for stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support project management activities including workshops, planning, risk tracking, reporting, and action tracking.

Work You’ll Do

As a Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for…

  • Supporting defense and public‑sector transformation initiatives focused on supply chain planning, logistics modernization, and supply chain risk management
  • Analyzing supply chain activities across procurement, inventory, distribution, maintenance, sustainment, and readiness environments
  • Contributing to modernization efforts for Army Organic Industrial Base manufacturing, maintenance, and repair operations
  • Developing analyses, briefings, decision support materials, and governance deliverables for client stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Supporting project management activities such as workshops, implementation planning, risk tracking, reporting, and action tracking

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning, logistics modernization, and/or supply chain risk management in 1 or more of the following area;
    • Supply chain planning, procurement, inventory, distribution, maintenance, sustainment, and readiness
    • Army Organic Industrial Base modernization across manufacturing, maintenance, and repair operations
    • Supply chain risk assessments, supplier resilience, critical dependencies, strategic materials, and industrial base risk
    • Defense logistics, acquisition, transportation, sourcing, and federal policy implementation
    • Policy analysis, governance, executive briefings, decision papers, staffing packages, and stakeholder coordination
    • Enterprise data analysis across ERP, maintenance, procurement, and logistics systems
    • Project management, workshops, implementation planning, risk tracking, and executive communications
    • CATMS, action tracking, reporting, and governance support

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or other federal government clients
  • Experience with Army Organic Industrial Base modernization initiatives
  • Experience conducting supply chain risk assessments or supplier resilience analyses
  • Experience supporting workshops, implementation planning, or risk tracking activities
  • Experience with CATMS or similar action‑tracking and reporting tools

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500 to $170,900.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
