Job summary

Deloitte’s GPS team seeks a Senior Consultant to empower federal clients with analysis of the defense industrial base, supply chain risks, and policy guidance. You will analyze data, brief non-technical stakeholders, and contribute to strategic decision-making across government programs.

Based on-site in Alexandria, VA, you will collaborate with senior leaders and manage multiple workstreams, traveling up to 25% as needed. A Secret clearance is required and sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing manufacturing systems, supplier networks, capacity constraints, or industrial ecosystem health.
  • 2+ years of experience briefing technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, producing written products to government officials, and supporting analysis and reporting for senior leadership within the United States government and Congress.
  • 2+ years of experience in defense industrial analysis, investment development and coordination, and market and sector research and forecasting.
  • Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Virginia up to 5 days per week.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Experience identifying risks and mitigation actions for contract execution
  • Master’s degree in law, social science, or business; Contracting Officer training; or acquisition certification

This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
