Job summary

Meijer is offering a Continuous Quality Improvement internship in the Supply Chain (MCQI) space. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across Meijer’s supply chain and work on projects to improve operational performance.

Interns will use data analysis, structured problem solving, and project management to drive efficiency and effectiveness throughout distribution and related functions. Responsibilities include analyzing processes, developing dashboards, identifying bottlenecks, and evaluating capital

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in supply chain related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytics skills with familiarity with Excel, Power BI, SQL.
• Drive for results with focus on the bottom line.
• Customer focus and relationship skills for internal/external customers.
• Strong communication and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis and dashboard development to improve operational throughput.
• Identify bottlenecks and constraints in distribution processes.
• Evaluate potential capital investments and build supporting business cases.
• Collaborate across distribution, transportation, and supply chain operations.
• Present findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Participate in time studies and process analyses.
