Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business related or technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in sourcing or supply chain functions.
• Outstanding project management skills, preferably in front-end NPD teams.
• Able to meet multiple commitments in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with suppliers internationally.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.
• Willing to travel domestically ~20%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies and project objectives.
• Manage NPD projects through completion with cross-functional teams including Design Engineers, Marketing, QA and Materials.
• Prepare and present NPD deliverables per RES409 to all levels of the organization.
• Manage start-up inventory and materials planning to drive service levels without excess inventory.
• Negotiate supplier long-term agreements focusing on performance and cost containment.
• Assess supplier capability, cost benefit analysis, risk prevention and contingency planning.
• Travel to suppliers and internal facilities to review capabilities and quality systems; facilitate technical reviews.
• Assist in creating objectives for team members.
