Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five years of directly related experience in contract manufacturing industry or electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Must have prior supervisory experience and strong people management skills.
• Significant experience with inventory control, logistics, materials requirement planning, supply chains, contract negotiations, and purchasing.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and purchasing procedures, determine supply needs, and supervise receiving across multiple sites.
• Lead and coach a team of Buyers, Engineering Production Services, Quoting Specialist and Proposal Administrator.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production while minimizing on-hand inventory and drive inventory turns.
• Provide management with data/metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.
• Interface with Program Managers on planning and forecasting of customer orders to meet shipments.
