Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for an electronics manufacturing environment.

You will oversee inventory, purchasing procedures, and collaborate across staff focused on purchasing, materials management and configuration management to keep production flowing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience in contract manufacturing, with strong supervisory skills and proficiency in inventory control, logistics, MRP, negotiations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of directly related experience in contract manufacturing.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
• Prior supervisory experience and strong people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchasing, materials management and inventory across multiple sites.
• Manage and supervise staff including Buyers, Engineering Production Services, Quoting Specialist and Proposal Administrator.
• Maintain inventory levels to ensure on-time production and optimize inventory turns.
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations and track quality, price and delivery metrics.
• Interface with program managers on planning and forecasting to meet shipments.
• Ensure company procedures are followed for materials and department functions.
