Job summary

512Financial is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to own procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and demand forecasting across global suppliers and domestic operations.

You will source parts from Asia, negotiate terms, and manage contracts through to delivery, coordinating with engineering for DFx and component development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in SCM/Logistics and 3–5 years of SCM Manager experience.
  • Minimum 3 years procurement experience with Asia.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite; strong Excel and Office.
  • Ability to forecast, plan inventory, and analyse data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the entire supply chain: procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and demand forecasting. Working directly with small factories in Asia, you'll source parts and products, negotiate prices and terms, and manage contracts and shipments through to the warehouse. Your experience with global suppliers, forecasting discipline, and continuous improvement mindset will directly shape the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire supply chain, including procurement, logistics, inventory planning, and demand forecasting
  • Procure parts and products directly from small factories in Asia and domestic suppliers
  • Communicate directly with Asian factories and cultivate strong business relationships
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory to ensure on-time order fulfillment
  • Collaborate with engineers on the development of new components and products, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and supplier sourcing
  • Manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, and ensure timely completion of orders
  • Arrange and consolidate shipments, monitor containers in transit, and ensure on-time arrival at the warehouse
  • Identify and resolve quality issues directly with Asian factories
  • Manage carrier portfolio, monitor performance and cost competitiveness, and negotiate pricing
  • Plan and monitor inventory shipments for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) orders
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze data, and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze and audit freight bills (FedEx, UPS, International)
  • Track landed cost, review invoices, and process supplier payments
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) of the supply chain to ensure quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction
What You'll Bring:
  • Global Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience procuring from Asian factories, with a deep understanding of cultural differences and challenges in a global supply chain
  • Forecasting & Planning: Strong proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory planning, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Operational Flexibility: Willingness to adjust your schedule to align with Asian suppliers’ business hours,Willingness to adjust your schedule to align with Asian suppliers’ business hours on an as‑needed basis
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Self-motivated to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities; practical experience with Lean Manufacturing is a plus
  • Tech Savviness: Practical experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Advanced Excel, and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable in a small or medium-sized company environment, with the adaptability to pivot confidently as the business grows
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, or a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Logistics
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Supply Chain Manager for a small or medium-sized company
  • A minimum of 3 years' proven procurement experience with Asia
  • Solid understanding of Asian culture and business practices, international trade regulations, and global supply chain logistics
  • Strong proficiency in demand forecasting and inventory planning
  • Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (in particular Advanced Excel); knowledge of SQL is desired
  • E-commerce experience, technical knowledge, and the ability to read drawings are desired
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
