Business Bricks is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to own end-to-end product movement from China to customers in a hybrid Lehi, UT role. You will negotiate with overseas factories and freight forwarders, manage customs, 3PL warehousing, and drop shipping for both China and the US, and partner with Sales to set realistic delivery dates.
You will translate sales trends into forecasts, plan around peak seasons, and monitor landed costs with weekly leadership updates.
Lehi, Utah (hybrid) | Reports to the COO | Full-time, salaried
Pay: $80,000 base plus up to $15,000 a year in quarterly bonuses tied to landed cost and on-time delivery ($95,000 total at target)
Thanks for taking a look at this job! We make custom building-brick kits under three brands: Business Bricks (custom kits for companies, from a few hundred to 30,000+ per order), Brick Loot (our own sets for families, online and on Amazon), and Brickem Young (faith-themed sets, like our temple sets).
And we are growing fast! We are adding new sales channels and new partners, launching licensed products with brands people love, and taking our kits to more countries around the world. We need someone who can build the processes, tools, and clean data that help us grow without things breaking. We are a small team that takes ownership, and treats every customer the way we'd want to be treated. If you love doing hard things well and you're a bit of a data nerd, we would love to meet you!
You own how our product gets made and moved, from the factory floor in China to the customer's door. You find, vet, and negotiate with our factories and freight forwarders. You run customs and imports, our 3PL warehouses, and drop shipping in China and the US. You work with Sales before big deals sign, so we promise dates we can hit, and you speak up early when a date is at risk. You turn sales trends into a forecast of what to order and when, and you plan around the holiday rush and Chinese New Year. You track landed cost per kit and report the main numbers to leadership every week.
This is a hands-on role, and some calls with China will be early in the morning or late at night. We will measure success by on-time delivery, landed cost per kit, freight as a percent of revenue, factory quality, and in-stock rates for our online stores.
Speaking Mandarin and leading a team of procurement and logistics specialists are big pluses. So is experience with toys (especially brick-building toys), custom or project-based production, Amazon FBA, and QuickBooks or HubSpot.
