Job summary

The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Supply Chain Management Manager to lead and optimize our materials management and SCM processes on the PAC-3 seeker program.

You will manage teams, collaborate with customers and stakeholders, drive process improvements, and ensure delivery of projects on schedule. This onsite role requires 1st-3rd shift availability, up to 15% travel, and eligibility for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
• 5+ years’ experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
• 5+ years’ experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system
• Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

We’re looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing’s Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) seeker—an integral part of the world’s most advanced air defense system. Recently, the PAC-3 was honored as the 2025 “Coolest Thing Made in Alabama: in the statewide Manufacturing Madness competition.

Position Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”

• 5+ years’ experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment

• Advanced knowledge of supply chain strategies (inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction)

• Ability to apply principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance (inter-relationships between components of systems and plans)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• CertifiedinProductionandInventoryManagement (CPIM)andCertifiedSupplyChainProfessional (CSCP)

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

• Strong operational experience with major ERPs and analytics; (SAP, ERP, APS, MES, WMS)
