Job summary
The Boeing Company in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking an Associate Production Control Manufacturing Production Specialist. You will help produce the PAC-3 Seeker and support the production schedule across multiple lines and sub-assemblies, ensuring throughput and quality.
Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, leading projects, and collaborating with QA to meet ISO standards. A background in manufacturing, Lean/RCCA methods, and strong MS Office skills will be essential.

- Work with QA and production to ensure quality parts and ISO compliance.
- Perform and execute activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops org and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

- Directly support the development of the production schedule/shop load (2-3 weeks look ahead) for the PAC-3 Seeker factory (including re-entry of non-conforming product on NCRs, ensuring quality and workforce adherence.
- Directly support production control team for the Seeker factory using KPI's.
- Monitor each line or sub-assembly area (e.g., PA-subs, PA, Gimbal, DIFP, ADPR and Seeker Assembly & Test) production plans and actual to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production.
- Work with QA and production to ensure quality parts and that all ISO standards are met in compliance with the customer.
- Perform and execute activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
- Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

- More than 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
- More than 3 years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience using Lean+ and/or Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
- Experience developing and executing strategies to meet organization objectives
- Experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
- Experience in developing solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry and/or the military
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- More than 3 years of experience in supply chain and/or materials management
- More than 5 years of experience with Material Requirements Planning, including the use of Compass Contract or a similar MRP system
- PMP and other Program Management certifications
This position is all shifts. Applicants must be willing to work 1st, 2nd, or weekend shift.
