Plexus Corp. is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to gain hands-on experience in warehouse inventory control, daily receipts, and material deployment. You will support daily procurement, inventory and shipments, while learning LEAN process improvements to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree for the full duration of the internship (Operations/Supply Chain/Engineering or related).
• Knowledge of lean and six sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative activities with focus on efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalated inquiries and issues, resolving them promptly.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities.
• Lead teams with development focus, evaluate potential, drive succession planning, and coach employees.
• Identify challenges in current processes and drive improvements using LEAN principles.
• Identify cost-saving and lead time reduction opportunities.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and inventory accuracy by managing warehouse metric goals.
• Ensure product and process quality complies with internal, industry, and customer standards.
