Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field for the entire duration of the internship.
• Knowledge of lean and six sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administrative activities related to warehouse/receiving and inventory control.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalated inquiries and issues, resolving them promptly.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities.
• Lead teams with a focus on development, evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and coaching employees to reach their potential.
• Help identify challenges in current processes and drive process improvements using LEAN principles.
• Identify cost-saving and lead time reduction opportunities.
• Drive productivity, efficiency, and inventory accuracy by managing warehouse metric goals.
• Assure that product and process quality complies with internal, industry, and customer standards.
