Job summary

The Allegion Supply Chain Intern in Greenfield, IN will support purchasing and materials planning by analyzing parameters, standardizing supplier onboarding, and documenting supplier-change processes. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous internship, project experience, or relevant coursework in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, quantify gaps, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for documenting processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for data analysis.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deliverables and meet milestones.

Responsibilities

• Review purchasing parameters against Allegion Playbook and propose changes to improve forecast accuracy and safety stock decisions.
• Create a supplier onboarding playbook with guides, checklists, data capture, and communication flows.
• Design and document a supplier-change process to capture supplier information and handoffs to GSM and planning teams.
• Deliver a gap analysis, a prioritized parameter change list, and pilot onboarding for one or two suppliers.
• Collaborate with GSM, materials planning, and inventory control to reduce supply disruptions.
