Job summary

Donaldson Company, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Intern for the Dixon, IL facility to gain real-world experience in procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and data analysis within a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment.

Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduates pursuing a related Bachelor's degree, be a U.S. person due to export controls, and demonstrate strong MS Office skills; GPA of 3.0+ preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility. Gain valuable supply chain experience in a fast-paced aerospace and defense environment at our Dixon, IL facility. This Supply Chain Intern role offers hands-on exposure to warehouse operations, process improvement, safety initiatives, and the core priorities that keep a complex supply chain moving.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist with procurement, including sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and managing supplier relationships.
• Help with inventory management, including stocktaking, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Support the logistics team with the coordination of shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving any issues related to transportation.
• Assist in the analysis of supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in meetings and projects related to supply chain optimization and process improvement.
• Help prepare reports and presentations for management on supply chain performance and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to various supply chain software and systems used by the company.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager or team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Must be U.S. persons (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee) as this position requires use of information which is subject to export controls.

• Minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA.

Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00 - 26.00, depending on projected undergraduate graduation date, educational degree in progress and major of study upon time of hire. This position is overtime eligible as per state and federal regulations.
