Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking an EHS Internship in Junction City, Kansas to support the safety program across distribution center operations. You will learn hazard identification, assist with audits, and help implement safety policies.

This role involves incident investigations, training support, and monitoring safety metrics while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preference for undergrad/graduate students in Environmental, Health and Safety or related fields, with a 3.2 GPA and

Qualifications

Undergraduate (Rising Junior or Rising Senior) or graduate student pursuing an Environmental, Health and Safety degree, Engineering, Data Analytics, MIS, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
GPA 3.2 or higher.
Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS) and workplace ergonomics.

Responsibilities

Assist in safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure OSHA compliance.
Support development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
Assist in organizing and delivering safety training sessions for employees (PPE usage, emergency procedures, hazard communication).
Monitor safety performance metrics and contribute to management reports.
Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
