Job summary

Foot Locker, Inc. is seeking interns to join the Supply Chain team in Junction City, Kansas. The role develops skills in inventory management, logistics, and cross-functional partnerships to ensure products reach customers promptly.

Interns will work with leadership to manage day-to-day distribution center operations, learn problem solving and teamwork, and gain exposure to multiple business areas while contributing to a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Undergrad (rising junior/senior) or grad student in Engineering, Data Analytics, MIS, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
• GPA requirement: 3.2.
• Strong analytical skills and self-motivation.
• Effective communication across levels of the organization.
• Ability to work cross-functionally.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Summer program working out of one of Foot Locker’s Distribution Centers, collaborating with team members and leaders to understand center operations.
• Support daily operations by working beside team members to lead, motivate and influence a team.
• Learn problem solving, leadership, and teamwork to drive productivity and safety.
• Seek growth opportunities and continuously learn through the internship experience.
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, safe culture and align the team on daily priorities.
• Gain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumen.
• Lead daily operational meetings and share relevant information.
• Take on assignments across departments during internship rotations.
