Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Data Scientist in Supply Chain Operations to join the DS2 team. You will forecast demand, build optimization and simulation models, and deliver actionable insights to improve distribution, inventory, and capacity planning.

You will work with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to design models and communicate results that drive cost efficiency and service improvements across our pharmaceutical supply chain.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data science or operations research preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience.
• MS/MBA with focus in data science, OR, IE, or statistics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand and build optimization/simulation models.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models for supply chain decisions.
• Communicate actionable insights to cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data models and pipelines.
• Present findings and quantify financial and operational impact.
