Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring a Data Scientist in the Decision Science Solutions (DS2) team to improve pharmaceutical supply chain performance. You will forecast demand, build optimization and simulation models, and communicate actionable insights across cross-functional teams.

The role requires collaboration with Data Engineers and expertise in DS/OR tools like AnyLogic, CPLEX, and SQL-based analytics. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred in data science or OR.
• BS in quantitative field or equivalent experience preferred.
• MS/MBA with focus in DS/OR/IE/Statistics preferred.
• Experience with SQL and databases preferred.
• Experience with DS/OR tools like AnyLogic or CPLEX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and OR to logistics and supply chain problems.
• Forecast demand and build optimization and simulation models.
• Communicate actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
• Develop prescriptive models with third-party software and custom models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to create data models.
