An established industry player in logistics is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage material flow and ensure timely shipments. This role involves tracking and processing material, interacting with suppliers, and driving performance standards to meet customer requirements. This position performs all processes related to material follow up. Provides visibility to management by tracking, processing, auditing, researching and trouble-shooting issues specific to material follow up. Manage material flow from suppliers through to the parts distribution centers. Refers to operational standards and processes to make decisions impacting supplier ship dates and overall customer requirements. Interacts and owns relationship with suppliers on behalf of the customer to ensure parts are shipped on time. Position is based out of Warren Michigan.
