Job summary

Secant Group, part of the Solenis family, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator in Telford, PA to support master scheduling, purchasing and materials management. You will coordinate procurement, receiving, shipping, and inventory to ensure on-time delivery of manufactured products.

You will evaluate processes for continuous improvement, generate production schedules, and interact with customers and vendors to source materials cost-effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of related experience in an office environment.
• 5 years in related industry or regulated environment (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).
• Understanding packaging related to manufacturing processes
• Hands-on knowledge of purchasing and inventory document management systems, planning and executions, supply chain management practices, BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
• Generate production schedules aligned with Capacity.
• Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure timely sourcing of raw materials.
• Place and manage purchase orders in line with MRP, Kanban, and production goals.
• Provide backup PR/PO support during peak periods.
• Receive materials, verify items, and manage QC documentation.
• Maintain accurate purchasing, shipping, and inventory records for audits.
• Manage value streams and inventory control.
• Issue and track material in ERP for production orders.
• Stage production orders and return unused materials to inventory.
• Ship outgoing materials to customers and vendors per instructions.
• Issue Sales Orders and Invoices to Customers.
• Identify areas for supplier performance/quality improvements.
• Participate in new product development and supply chain planning.
• Coordinate shipping with QA, Shipping, and Accounting.
• Assist in credit reference processes for clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description

What we are looking for:

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for providing support to critical functions including master scheduling, purchasing requests and documents, vendor lists, materials management, inventory, shipping and receiving. The role will coordinate all purchasing related activity such as receiving and verifying materials and managing on-time delivery of all manufactured products.

What you will do:

• Proactively evaluates current processes and systems to identify continuous improvement opportunities within the extended value stream and develops and implement best practices in supply chain disciplines.
• Generates and communicates production schedule in alignment with Operation & Quality team capacities.
• Interacts with customers and vendors to ensure the cost effective and timely sourcing of raw materials to meet the needs of the manufacturing operations and to maintain the most cost efficient and effective amount of raw material and work in-process inventories.
• Places and manages purchase orders in accordance with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Kanban signals, Service PO needs, and production plan goals and related planning data.
• Provides backup Purchase Request & Purchase Order support during peak periods and PTO.
• Receives all incoming materials in and moves product to quarantine once all pack lists, certificates, and any supporting documentation for QC to perform required incoming inspection are scanned into the system.
• Maintains accurate purchasing, shipping, and inventory documentation in preparation for Customer or Regulatory Body audits.
• Manages the assigned value streams including the management of inventory
• Responsible for issuing & de-issuing material in ERP System for Production orders.
• Responsible for physically staging all production orders for Operations and returning all unused raw materials back into inventory.
• Ships all outgoing materials to customers and vendors. Execute all shipping instructions and pack lists.
• Issue Sales Orders and Invoices to Customers
• Proactively identify areas for improvement in the supply base by identifying performance or quality issues within the respective value stream’s supply base.
• Participates in the new product development process and supports supply chain planning activities.
• Coordinates shipping activities including interfacing with Quality Assurance, Shipping and Accounting.
• Assists in the credit reference process including providing clients with credit reference documentation and ensuring timely completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 7 years' related experience in an office environment.
• 5 years of experience in a related industry or regulated environment (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820).

• Considerable knowledge of the Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to use creativity to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to get along well with others and work in a team environment.
