Join our dynamic team at Inco Beverage as a Supply Chain Purchasing Coordinator, where you will drive the strategic procurement and replenishment of beverage inventory for multiple distribution centers. Your expertise in purchasing, inventory management, data analysis, and supplier collaboration will help ensure the right products are available at the right time to support our customers and business growth.
Starting Salary: $55,000 annually, with the opportunity for a higher starting salary based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies that align with demand planning and sales forecasts.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure product availability, quality, and timely deliveries.
- Analyze inventory trends using VIP and Microsoft Excel to identify shortages, excess inventory, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock counts through inventory management systems.
- Conduct demand planning and inventory analysis to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste and out-of-stock situations.
- Collaborate with management to develop forecasting strategies and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve inventory accuracy.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance purchasing and inventory management processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or
- Five or more years of proven experience in supply chain management, purchasing, inventory control, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as IBM AS400 or similar inventory management software.
- Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, purchasing, and logistics operations.
- Ability to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
