Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of purchasing or buying experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Strong computer and math skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Aufgaben

• Plan and purchase materials using MRP to maintain inventory levels.
• Manage purchase orders and respond to production schedule changes.
• Maintain ERP parameters including cost, lead times, safety stock, and order quantities.
• Build supplier relationships and manage day-to-day ordering and performance.
• Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Scheduling, and Engineering to resolve material issues.
• Address supplier/non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions.
• Balance material availability with inventory efficiency.
