Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions, LLC in Osseo, Wisconsin is seeking a Buyer to work with manufacturing teams, especially the electrical department, to secure materials and services on time. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems
• Strong computer and basic math skills
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase materials using MRP to maintain inventory levels
• Manage purchase orders and respond to changes in production schedules
• Maintain ERP planning parameters including cost, lead times, safety stock, and order quantities
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while managing day-to-day ordering and performance
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery and needs
• Partner with Manufacturing, Scheduling and Engineering to resolve material issues
• Address supplier/non-conformances and coordinate corrective actions
• Balance material availability with inventory to optimize resources
