Job summary

NCH is seeking a Supply Chain Associate – Central Supply to ensure supplies are received, organized, and available in the Central Supply areas across the facility. This role supports timely delivery to clinical areas and maintaining inventory integrity.

You will inspect deliveries, complete replenishment and distribution tasks, perform cycle counts, and help keep par levels stocked while building strong relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 1 year experience in healthcare, supply chain, retail, or customer service or be enrolled in a bachelor’s program.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of clinical procedure processes and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensures products match packing slips and identifies delivery locations.
• Completes replenishment, picking, and distribution tasks to support central supply.
• Delivers supplies, equipment, and packages to customers with accurate delivery locations.
• Manages replenishment process: straightening, counting, picking, and stocking for assigned areas.
• Performs routine cycle counts and maintains par levels; supports inventory accuracy.

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Associate – Central Supply is a key member of the supply chain. This position is responsible for ensuring supplies are received, organized, and available in the Central Supply areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Other duties may be assigned.

• Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensuring products match packing slips and identifying delivery locations.
• Completes replenishment, picking, and distribution tasks.
• Delivers supplies, equipment, and packages to customers, ensuring accurate delivery location.
• Manages the supply replenishment process, including straightening, counting, picking, and stocking supplies for assigned areas.
• Performs supply chain process such as supply return requests, requisitions, receiving, and/or product recall activities timely and accurately ensuring that both the operational and system components are completed.
• Picks up return items and performs daily par cart inventories.
• Ensures par areas are orderly, properly tagged, and sufficiently stocked.
• Builds and maintains relationships with customers to ensure needs are met and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with periodic inventory of supplies in assigned areas.
• Performs routine cycle counts of perpetual inventory.
• Ensures vendor compliance with all policies and procedures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of experience in healthcare, supply chain services, retail, or customer service OR . minimum of a high school diploma or GED and enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
• Basic knowledge of products and equipment used in assigned areas.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Understanding of clinical procedure process.
• In-depth knowledge of products and equipment used in assigned areas.
• Knowledge and experience in performing the duties associated with purchasing, receiving, shipping, and distribution preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to use an ERP system preferred.
