Supply Chain Associate

Location: 3857 E 20th St, Joplin, MO 64801

Store: MOJOP Public Store

Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

Up to 28 hours/week

Overview

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in supply chain excellence. You will manage inventory and support business-to-business operations through procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and drive business success. The position is based at our branch in Joplin, MO, with potential for flexible scheduling after onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success

Required Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Currently pursuing or have a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or have relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Motivated, self-directed, customer service-oriented
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Organized, able to prioritize
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbs.
• Pass drug screen and background check
