Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a detail-oriented Process Improvement Specialist to partner with Process Engineers in designing and deploying efficient workflows. You will analyze data, map processes, and propose system enhancements to boost productivity and visibility across operations.

You’ll support SOP updates, time studies, and KPI reporting, while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders to implement practical, data-driven solutions that drive measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Analytics.
• 3+ years of related work experience in process improvement or operations analytics.

Responsibilities

• Assist Process Engineers in developing and deploying new processes to improve efficiency and data visibility.
• Design and implement new workstation layouts to increase space utilization and reduce cycle time.
• Collaborate with the operations team to identify constraints and implement solutions.
• Conduct time studies and update SOPs following the change management process.
• Improve workstation safety and ergonomics.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for routine activities and track open items.
• Support projects with data analysis, process mapping, and system enhancements proposals.
• Pull data from multiple sources and create storytelling charts/graphs for root-cause analysis.
• Assist in testing, debugging, and documentation of solutions.
• Validate data/dashboards and provide insights for decision making.
