Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to collaborate with the operations team to identify bottlenecks, perform root-cause analyses, and implement effective solutions that improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.

You will support Process Engineers, update SOPs, conduct time studies, and coordinate with vendors while building real-time dashboards for performance visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of three years' professional experience in supply chain within manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to identify constraints, perform root-cause analyses, and implement solutions; respond to daily process escalations.
• Assist Process Engineers in developing and deploying new processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data visibility and inventory accuracy.
• Recommend and implement SOP updates per change management process.
• Conduct time studies and resource utilization analyses.
• Act as liaison between operations and third-party vendors; track and follow up on items and escalations.
• Organize and conduct regular meetings and trainings to communicate process changes.
• Work with data teams to build metrics dashboards for real-time performance visibility and informed decisions.
