Job summary

Element Food Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst – MRP Buyer to coordinate replenishment of raw materials and optimize flow within plant capacity.

You will work with procurement to ensure materials are available to execute work orders and help prevent disruptions. The role requires 2–4 years in production planning, experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, Infor M3, BAAN), and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or manufacturing related field is highly desirable.
• 2-4 years’ experience in production planning.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong familiarity with ERP and MRP systems.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills with the ability to assess trends and statistical data/reports.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Execute development, maintenance, publication of the Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) and place orders; confirm deliveries; set priorities to meet customer requirements.
• Partner with production planning and other departments to ensure business continuity, service, and cost management.
• Track and provide updates on KPIs like Inventory vs goal, service level, production downtime and SLOB.
• Attend production/project meetings to help drive initiatives and reporting.
• Understand inventory policies and execution with the goal of maximizing customer satisfaction and minimizing costs.
• Analytical forecast reviews and dashboards management.
• Provide forecasts and supply-demand indicators to vendors and customers monthly.
• Generate shortage reports, update data, and present to planning team for production adjustments.
• Participate in new product launches to ensure success of initial production runs.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with other departments to build strong relationships and report exceptions that impact goals.
• Ensure all activities meet quality, safety and food safety requirements with focus on continuous improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
