Job summary

Altec Industries, Inc. in Birmingham is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to support our Engineering Team with a focus on Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) across Manufacturing, Quality, and Design.

You will rotate through departments, gain hands-on experience on real projects, and contribute to process and product quality improvements.

This role offers mentorship, exposure to our custom manufacturing environment, and potential path to full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time student in good academic standing
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• At least 18 years of age
• Completed a minimum of 24 credit hours or hold sophomore standing
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

Responsibilities

• Participate in RCI events and engineering projects across multiple departments
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve processes and product quality
