Bauer Compressors in Norfolk, VA seeks a Supply Chain Analyst to develop and optimize inventory planning, reduce investment and improve working capital while maintaining production continuity.
You will collaborate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Operations, Engineering and Finance, develop dashboards and reports, analyze demand, lead times and inventory trends, and drive Lean improvements.
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining and continuously improving inventory planning parameters across the organization. The position focuses on reducing inventory investment and improving working capital while maintaining production continuity and customer service. Working within the Planning department and in close collaboration with Purchasing, Production Planning, Operations, Engineering and Finance, this role serves as the company's subject matter expert for inventory optimization methodologies.

The noise levels in some manufacturing facilities frequently may exceed the normal dBA. The employee is required to wear eye protection when walking through the plant.
Normal working schedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible work schedule available. Core business hours are from 8am to 5pm.
